I wonder if it might be possible to sheath the exterior with clear plastic.

I really like the pattern made by the contrasting colors of the insulation and the plywood on the sides. Wouldn't it be cool to retain that look in the finished trailer?

Hey Mike, I never thought of keeping the skeleton look in the final trailer...it is kinda cool looking.

We got the spars in this weekend...well all but the last five anyway (we started from the hatch spar and moved forward).






These images show the clamps in place for the problem areas.




These two show the inside bracing.


The double spars and bracing for the Fantastic Fan.


Today I got the last regular spars in. The last one is an odd shape that covers the chassis frame and deck.


She's almost ready for insulation and wiring.

Dave, looking good Can't wait to see it up close in August! By the by, Be sure and epoxy the water jug tray, learned that the hard way, currently have epoxy on my hands from doing a little tray remodel from some water damage (forgot to put the little airvent thinggy back on the jug before traveling, thus water everywhere.) Varnish is not enough to protect.

Hey Debbie, sounds like a very good idea there. I was wondering how aggressive I need to be in that lower area as to waterproofing. I'm now thinking that the whole lower cabinet interior needs to be epoxied.

Leaving the little air-vent thingy out is right up our alley too!

Since the water just sloshed down the sides of the water jug, the only thing that got wet was the tray itself. So I am pretty comfortable with only epoxying that part, (and we did the "forgot the air vent thinggy thing TWICE). but you can never use too much epoxy!

We got a few things done this weekend. The remaining forward spar is in and the tongue box is well underway.






Here you can see the kerfs needed to bend the 1/2" plywood to the back curve.



We would have installed all the removable shelf supports if our brad nailer hadn't blew an 'O' ring.

One more cabinet to build this week.
