8) 8) Wow!! I was a great day here in Central Florida!!!!!
Until I see that EVERYBODY vacated the Dead Thread.

Did everyone go on vacation at the same time? I did not see any of you at my park today. I guess that you were at one of the other parks.

At any rate, after working all day, I have arrived to save the day! :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:

Time for the west coast to check in for duty...

I don't know about vacation - but it is really really hot out there. I think people in your Nation's Capital are just keeping quiet and trying to cool off. Going to be 105F+ today and by Friday we are to hit 110F+ and very poor air quality. Going to way too hot!!!!!!!! :snow

That is what I see on the news!! HOT, HOT, HOT!!
Big pressure cooker is what they say over most of the country.
Here is Florida, the tropical storm over the Bahamas is making us dryer...still hot, but dryer. Everyone be safe and try to stay indoors and cool.
Drink lots of water!!!!

8) :fan: :phew: :phew: It is hot!! Good morning to all!

As you well know, the country is HOT; even those folks way up north are hotter then it is here in Florida. The sea breezes are helping us!

Make it a great day where you are. Glenn, are you on vacation too?

seems the internal systems can't handle the hit and we have to to emergency generator power. Phone service is being hampered and Verison is looking into the problem. This is not a good thing for a hospital!

We will see what is going to happen........

I bring this thread back to life.

Yes I breath the air and the words that will keep it going. And yes it is hot out there. The evil ones tell us it will be 103F+ today and not t-storms. They say that with the heat index (what is a heat index) it will be 115F. OK I give up........ :surrender:

So stay indoors - drink plenty of fluids (no don't drink beer) and read a good book :poop:

Help...I'm dieing and I can't get up!

It was a very warm day, although, not as hot as the rest of the country!

We received a lot of rain this evening which did cool it off some.

Hope that everyone had a great day and is drinking a lot...of water!!

Good night and good morning!!

It's that time again... The time to meet the day - soak up some sun and have a great day.

What a weekend. 1st I get a phone call from my wife's aunt saying that my wife's uncle had passed away. A real nice guy and always enjoyed his conversation. Then was taking my brother out for dinner and we cross the rail tracks in town only to see the commuter train stopped in the middle of the tracks - cops all over the place - lights a blazing and sirens all over the place. Seems a guy tried to cross the tracks and didn't see the commuter train coming and got whacked.

And finally - my wife's cousin is a pilot and he was out taking his new glidder for a ride. Well the tow plane got them going - a confusion about the release of the tow cable and he slams into a group of trees - his passenger is thrown out of the plane - dies and the cousin is left in the remains of the plane in the top of the tree - this was not a great weekend.

I knew it when it happened.. I went to the ER.. and they told me I did not have a stroke.. and did not need to come into the ER... the Neurologist they called, called for some tests.. and in my appointment with him.. He confirmed a stroke... :? :?
