I'll definitely keep Jeremy's son and family in my prayers. I just checked the prayer thread all the way back to Dec. 2009, I don't see anything posted by Urban5. Perhaps he could try posting it again. I know this forum wouldn't ignore such a request if it was posted.

I'm not religious and I'm not really knowledgeable about prayer and stuff like that, but I would assume that prayer is private and intimate. Just because those who pray don't specify they are praying for your friend's child, I'm sure they have him in their thoughts.

Just got a pm from urban5 or jermy tonight he says his son has cancer and is battling for his life.

He also said he posted it to the prayer list and everyone ingored him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

folks. lets start showing some compasion and pray for people we don't even know.

becuase I am going to pray for the poor guy if no one else WON"T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always enjoy reading your posts, but you need to start verifing things before you start accusing people of not caring. you are not the only person that cares about his fellow man. we have lost 2 grand kids over that last few years and it is heartbreaking and i can say the people on this forum have made a difference. Your right you will not see the prayer request there anymore. It was posted, and after going for over a week with no response, I erased it. I am afraid I am a little emotional at this point, so I am going to keep my response short due to saying things I may regret as far as some of the other posts to this thread. I PMed Slow and in that PM mentioned the prayer list. I consider Slow a kind man and a forum friend. That is why he posted this was out of concern for me and mine. So I am "Verifying" it for him.

Fellows, I think it's just that we all have our favorite threads and just don't check any of the others. I know I'm pretty bad about that. I only read certain threads, so I would never have know about Jermy's son if Slowcowboy had not posted it here.
