Is a car emblem on the right track?

Close, so close in fact i'd be robbing you not to give it.
It's an emblem on a car, but not related to it.
It's a mountney bonnet catch on the aftermarket flip front on my MG.
Seen here just behind the front wheel

On a classic car forum in this country everyone would know, maybe a bit obscure for over the pond though.

I'm not gonna try to "extream closeup" this one, lets see if anybody knows what this little piece of my world is. Googling "Van Dorn 120" is cheating, we'll go on the honor system.

Dead on.

The ''cabinet'' is where the mold goes, and has a hydraulic clamp that opens and closes the mold, the long cylender going towards the back of the clamp is the barrol that injects plastic into the mold, and at the verry top is a robot that takes the parts out of the mold.

I should probably confess that I used to operate a much older version that made catch all baby bibs.
The mould was so old and worn that we had to trim acres of flash off every one by hand, Nearly at the top of the worst jobs I've ever had list.
But then you do what you have to.
Probably an easy one

I won't answer since other folks might like to try...but I will say I'd be very pleased to tour the country in that! :applause:

Saw one of these auctioned on Barrett Jackson Auctions a few years ago. Some body had bid 5 million but could not pay. They said a museum got it for 4 million. GM Futurliner from the forties.

Bang on, And a steal at $4 million.
I've read they were undriveable, unreliable and almost unbuildable.
Doesn't that just make you want one.
