I will throw in 6 wide. Still will track behind most full to mid size vehicles, After adding the walls you will lose a few inches. 2 doors a must and the wider the better. Borrow or beg a good welder, do not waste your money on a cheap harbor freight welder. I have an old red Lincoln electric stick welder. You see them around a lot in farm barns. Or get it clamped together and take it to a local shop. Money spent to "modify" a trailer, you can buy the steel, axle, and coupler, chains, tires and rims, springs and hangers. 3/16th angle is much stronger than the thin stock that the overseas trailers are made from. Good luck with your build. Bill
