What a Great Bunch of People!

Postby campmaster-k » Tue Aug 09, 2011 1:09 pm

I am new here. I am not new to building my own toys or surfing the net. I have never experienced such a positive helpful gathering of people anywhere on the net. I have seen all types of builders here, gurus to hackers and all have been welcomed and helped in every way possible. Thank you to all of you who set such a great example of how people should treat each other.

Mr. Kirk if you do any other forum you will find some people on them are helpful others just want to criticize.

while on this site as you have already pointed out when we disagree we seem to always respect the other's view.

There is no reason to disrespect anyone's opinion listen you may learn something, heck I almost 70 and I've learned a lot more than I've offered.

Get bent.

just kidding. Actually I was thinking the very same thing this morning. Just to add there are some very creative thinkers here. I believe they are examples of the American ingenuity that made this country great in the first place.

The only reason I'm still here is because I haven't been banned.

I couldn't agree more. I have been on this forum a very short time and I have learned so much already!!

I also have a sense that everyone here genuinely wants to help and to see you succeed and to bring you into the fold.

Think what a wonderful world this would be if folks in all walks of life treated each other the same.

Maybe they would if they all had teardrops!!

Hey Kirk,

I agree - I was an absolutely newbie to T&TTT's and a newbie builder as well, when I landed on this list. I was thinking about getting a pop-up and accidentally found myself here after googling small camper. I don't think I fully comprehended what I was getting into when I decided to build one!

I've asked so many questions and I have always received careful, patient feedback and lots of information. Some members have provided hands-on help during the build, helped me to find sources for materials. Mike drew-up the plans for the modified camper I built. Whenever I've felt discouraged in the build, I would post here, and get an energy boost of motivation from all of the encouragement!

Not to mention, I've met some really great people from all over the US and all over the world, actually. Its a great forum.

Welcome!
