I am pretty sure I am not depressed about having the stroke.. yet wonder if some change in the brain is causing it..

Although I am sort of bothered of having to deal with Western medicine again..

Now where do you get real good bagels? Trying lke mad here in DC and can't get a decent NY bagel. I have to go to NY or have my brother ship down (overnight) a couple of dozen. The things we get here are like "Rubber Biscuits"

We have Einstein Bagels here in town andit is a haul for me to get there!!
I was on the other side of town at the VA and had to make a stop...the first location was out of my favorite so I drove another five miles out of my way to get them. FRESH!!!

Well Rod, it was very uncomfortable here this weekend, but I managed to eat well -- and I cooked it all myself, so it was mostly healthy.

I had some excellent chicken wings, a great steak, and some smoked meatballs and fried pickles.

Oh yeah, they are awesome. Just take some dill chips, dry them off, toss them in seasoned flour, and deep fry them until golden brown and crispy.

They are a nice movie watching snack, or side item with chicken wings, which is how I ate them. The wings were grilled, so it wasn't a deep fried overload.

Can't the doctors in the mothership beam you up and use some kind of probe on you? Or, are probes only used on innocent trailer park residents?
