For Sale

Postby kiblerk » Sun Aug 07, 2011 7:53 pm

I hope it's ok that I post on here that I have a Farmette for sale. Located in the Shenandoah Valley, 5 miles off of I-81. 3BR, 2BA, one story home. Nice sunroom, new windows, new roof. This property was designed in 1996 for horses. A 4 stall horse barn with hay loft, 2 stall run-in-shed and a 12x12 run-in-shed. Fields have been sectioned off to rotate animals. almost 6 acres. 5 1/2 of pasture and about half an acre of yard. asking price is $189,000. the MLS # is 76441 in rockingham county. old dominion realty has the listing.

if you are interested PLEASE take a look or pass this along. we need to downsize. this is the only reason we are selling. everything is in great shape! we just don't need this much dirt anymore and the horses have been gone for over two years.

i hope someone out there is interested!!!!!

stevem50, if i did, you'd be roughin' it. it's just pasture. of course, we did have a camp out years ago with tent campers. i don't know what we'd do for showers? guess we could run a garden hose down the hill and make an outdoor shower! now that would be fun! i think i'd just like to sell it and go to a campground to camp. but you have made me think about it.....!

i have a solar heated stand-up shower (black water reservoir) that doubles as the porto-john when we are roughing it. they are 25-30 bucks and money well spent. those rental trailer pots can get spendy...

Kay, your place sounds like a little piece of paradise. It sounds like a good price for everything you have listed. I wish you the best of luck selling it.

Thanks Becca! If I could just figure out the whole "add a photo" here, I'd post a few. We've had some interest, just wish someone would make us an offer!

Kay, the easiest way is to have a Photobucket account (free). Upload photos to it then you can copy them here. Click on my 'www'...that's Photobucket.
