Serial number on old pop-up

Postby Slayer » Tue Aug 16, 2011 10:54 am

Hi all,

Thought maybe someone here might be able to help with a small problem I'm having.
I recently bought an old Coleman Columbia pop-up tent trailer for real small money, but I have know idea when it might have last had a tag on it.
So this is the problem. I have looked, and looked but I can't find the serial number that I need to get a tag for it. Not sure what kind of hoops the great state of Georgia will make me jump through without it. Any ideas?

Thanks, Rodney :?
I know its the photographer, and not the camera. I'll keep shooting with a Pentax. Just in case.

for what this is worth ...i rebuilt an old popup trailer (don't know what kind it was..just a basket case) and the serial # was on a little plate on the front leftside of the torsion axle ......but you said you looked so...

Yesterday a friend and I were taking a hammer and a cold chisel to a box that someone had welded to the tongue when the plate with the serial # on it jumped out at me. Just couldn't see it until we got the tongue box off.
Thanks for the idea rm.

Hey Gage,

Yes it was. Now starts the teardown. I'm gonna use the frame, and the pop-up to build another BBQ concession trailer.

If you're ever in Rosamond tell them Rotten Rodney said hi.
