HI-LO on a Pop-up

Postby pete42 » Wed Aug 17, 2011 8:07 am

I have often wondered why someone who has an old pop-up doesn't convert it to a HI-LO looking trailer
sort of like what these people did http://www.goldbrand.info/index.html with a motorcycle trailer.
or am I to late as usual and it's been done before?

I am doing the opposite. I bought a 1966 Hi-Lo and tore it down to the frame and will be making a stand up out of it. And must say. I cannot believe the construction of it, poorly done and absolutly the cheapest materials and craftmanship.

I have a hard time believing that trailer weighs 220 pounds. I suppose if it's all carbon fiber, including the chassis, it could come close, but I dunno....
