Suffering through the upper 90s heat this weekend I did a bit of work on the trailer. I constructed two countertops and laminated them. One is over the fride cabinet and the other is the tiny sink countertop shown below:

And here is the sink in place in the trailer and you can also see the corner of the fridge cabinet in this photo.

A $15 dollar used RV sink from Craigslist and a clearance bin $12 faucet set from Home Depot. Not to mention the $8 salvage yard sheet of laminate to make the countertops with. 8)

Thanks Cliff. Since you are enjoying following it then you should appreciate I did not go and finish it quickly. This way you can savor it. :?

Do you think I made the sink cabinet narrow enough?

Mark, I think you're doing a great job of getting the most out of a small trailer and that is part of what TD & TTTing is all about!

Looking forward to your next update!

Thanks for that Sharon. In "shoe horning" everything into my tiny trailer I have milked every fraction of an inch out of what I have.

We will see about the attractive part but certainly this is a study of exactly how much stuff one can cram onto a HF 4x8 trailer.

I worked on plumbing my bathroom this weekend; specifically the toilet. Here is a shot looking down at the floor of the bathroom. Note the vent stack of 2" PVC pipe.

Here is what is underneath the bathroom. None of this is glued in place yet, it is a dry fit. I wanted to go straight to the side with this run of drain pipe but the frame did not cooperate with that plan. I found it simpler to run it to the back corner. This allowed for a short run and a simpler connection to the vent stack. I especially did not want to run rearward as it could easily present a contact point with the pavement. but this is what worked out so I probably wil do it. I have 11.5" clearance from the ground to the low point on the pipe. I have the pipe up as tight as it will go to the frame.

The vent stack will be left exposed in the shower as shown here.

Here is my light installed in my bathroom. Between the light shown here and the front of the bathroom which is the shower area, there will be a shower curtain dividing the two.

The shower curtain will cover the toilet when the shower is being used as well as protect the light fixture from spray.
