General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

I will usually pick up some old series (Dragnet, Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, etc) or a multi movie set (Ma and Pa Kettle), if I am camping alone, if I'm taking my nephew I will pick up a kids movie from the 80's. Usually don't spend over $15.

Moon Over Parador. It's a Richard Dreyfuss comedy. Also stars Raul Julia.

I have the National Parks set by I believe Ken Burns. It was on PBS and I burned a set to take on trips. These were the kind of movies the Park Rangers would show in the evenings for the campers when we were kids. Sort of brings back that old memory. Plus it keeps you thinking about the next trip.

I also throw in "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" and "Ron White, They call me Tator Salad" DVD

...yep, iff'n ya got that one, all else is gravy...and of course my all time favorite...Dr Srangelove (or how I learned to love the BOMB) Peter Sellers is fantastic in several roles and Slim Pickens riding the BOMB is one of the all time GREAT movie scenes

"RED" with Bruce Willis. It starts slow. But it gets funny.
"Being There" is good. It's Peter Sellers last movie.

We have the complete collection of "One Step Beyond" on DVD. 50 half hour episodes that we can watch while raining or just to unwind while in bed...
I have a tendency to buy these old shows because they're inexpensive and just good TV. I also scored the complete set of "Robin Hood" with Richard Greene on DVD. I think I paid 5 bucks for each of these gems....all at Walmart..
best, Tim

I like all the Neil Simon movies. Goodbye Girl, Chapter Two, Cactus Flower...

Love The Odd Couple and just about anything with Jack Lemon.

Not in the cheap bin yet, but my current favorite is Burlesque.

I like old westerns and pretty much anything with John Wayne. Also can't go wrong with RV or anything else with Robin Williams in it. Wild Hogs is funny. Tom Hamks has a few good ones, but some of those are about 3 hours long. Turner and Hootch is fun as long as your dog won't bark at dogs on the screen (mine goes absolutely crazy).

I like the old Cary Grant shows. Operation Petticoat and Father Goose are fun but I don't know if they are in the cheap bins.
