congrats! I'm hoping to get "patched in" at the Fall Brigade coming up at the end of September. I'm thinking of going with bacon-filled. Yumm.

Its like this. Its just not fair that not everyone who wants one can have one. And dont give me that lifes not fair thing. Its and elitist club your "Patched In". Now if I had a Waffledog Iron I might think differently, until I do you all are a bunch of waffledog snobs.

If you check Deans video out...you can see what they look like. It's a kitchen gadget from the 50's that allowed you to cook a corn dog without all the grease and hassle. We make them up as plain waffles, or stick in a breakfast sausage or doctor them up however you like. Dean, manages to fit 10# of stuff in a 5 # sack when he does them. I don't work that hard at it. A corn dog comes out great in them!

We found one on e-bay and managed to breathe new life into an old gadget/cooking concept here on the forum. Just a fun thing while out camping. Doug

I will check out the video when I get to a real computer (on the iPhone now) but I saw pictures of some of you holding corn dog-like pie irons. I guess I need to find one of those, too! Is there a recipe book for it too? Like the DO book? Or is it still in 'testing stage'?

What other mini clubs are there here? I do have several toas-tite pie irons!

Crap! There goes the price again. I'm never going to be able to afford one if you guys keep posting about them.

My DO is on order and should be here soon, and I have a Coleman stove from the 70's...white gas fueled. I'm hoping my lantern is still where the stove is (about 90 miles away at a relative's house...)

I have some cast iron. I'll have to see what I have left. What do I need to get besides the DO for fun at tear rallies?

I'll be on the lookout for stuff now for sure!!

There is a brand new, in the box, waffle dog iron on eBay right now. The bidding is at $51 and it has 4 days left. Good luck aspiring waffle doggers.

Oh, you let the cat out of the bag!!!! Dang!!!! I was thinking about getting that one...but look who is driving the price up now!! :)

I'm on the hunt for one of these. The ebay one would have been too easy. If I can't get one another way, I'll resort to ebay. But I did really consider bidding, but went to look at teardrops instead.

I wonder how high the price will go..........
