The "lake" is more liker a small pond, no motor boats, and you have to pay per day to put your non-motorized craft on the water. The beach is nice, but small. There is a nice pavilion there that can be rented that we saw a wedding party using yesterday. The wedding was on a deck overlooking the lake, with the reception in the adjacent good sized enclosed building (the pavilion). We hiked some fairly steep trails as well.
Our impression was that this park was old and not well cared for, considering other NYS parks we've been at. We probably won't go back. So far, Keuka Lake State Park is our favorite!
