We only hit 99 yesterday, and that came on late in the day. It was otherwise pleasant, with nice breeze.

That was yesterday.

Back to 103 today at the doghouse. I'm allowed to water my yard tonight.

Good Morning all

It always amazes me that when school starts and as we approach Labor Day - the weather changes. Only a few weeks ago we were having the hottest summer and then BAM! The weather changes - It is pleasant - seasonable temps and it's that that of the year that you open all the windows and you have to sleep with a blanket on. Just beautiful weather.

Any way - everyone have a great time.

Speak for yourself. It is 104 at the doghouse right now. We have a gathering next weekend, and we are hoping that something will break this heat wave enough to make it bearable.

The gathering is at a lake, but the lake water temperature is 84.

8) 8) Good morning all,
Had my bi-annual check-up the other day and the Doctor did not give me a hard time. Blood work was all Okay and I lost a few pounds.

This is the season for afternoon/evening storms with lots of sun during the day.
Yesterday was low to mid 90s and should be the same for today.

Pray that everyone in the Northeast is recovering and still have their lives.
Make it a great day where you are!

Hey kiddos... been busy here... too busy perhaps..

Today I put my brides now road bike together... We mostly ride tandems on the road.. but right now need to ride singles.. and we have been contemplating a new bike for her... for a few years now [her old one is perhaps 20 years old] Well we finally bit the bullet and ordered a new one.

Also my new stem and pedals came in for my downhill bike. I did get the new stem installed..

time for a shake down road ride.. checking fit and such on Laurie's bike... before a longer ride tomorrow. :D

Sure hope that you had a great ride. Did the new equipment work out properly?

Been plenty warm her in Orlando though we have had some sea breezes lately which help some. I also have been working some good hours and thuws the non-response on here lately. Seems like everyone else is working as well.

Make it a great evening where you are!
