Locktite

Since I am getting ready to start my build, I would like to find out if anyone has ever used locktite on the trailer to sub floor bolts and nuts? If so did it work very well?

Why.... Proper applied torque or lock washers or "nylock" nuts are adequate (If I was concerned these would be my choice) ...

To use locktite products you have to clean all the bolts and nuts (threaded areas) in non oily solvent to be sure locktite will adhere to bolts and nuts, removing oils just make parts rust sooner....

My concern would be in the other direction, making sure I could get them apart and protection from rust. Lock washers and nuts as Dale mentioned are more than sufficient. I routinely use anti seize on any bolt I might ever want to get apart ever for what ever reason, in other words all of them.

If you don't use nylon nuts, then you definately want to use locktite because when bolting wood together, lock washers can fail due to wood compression over time. You won't be able to get to the proper torque when bolting wood together, you just compress the wood.
