Kat and i talked about doing this when we were planning our tear. Went back and forth between the shuttle and a standard tear. Finally, the tear won out.

The pods could be fenders over the tires, with storage ahead and behind the tires.

I was stopped at a gas station about a month ago and a guy asked me if he could take some pictures of my trailer; then he said it reminded him of a shuttle craft ....(being somewhat of a 'closet' trekkie myself, I was honored....although wife didn't think it was that funny...go figure)
.....maybe if I do a few mods (like a number, a nacell on each fender, a phase cannon port on the front.... )

Of course if it was a real one you wouldn't need a TV, of course gas stations selling Dilithium Crystals are few and far between, much harder than Diesel.
