I've noticed that since Doug mentioned (marshmellow) peeps on this forum, people are paying a lot more then their worth on Ebay.

a little known fact about peeps is they haven't made them, since world war two. but they have an atomic half life simular to that of strontium 90 and will last for many centuries. :R

You can now get those nasty marshmallow sugar coated monstrosities for Halloween, Christmas and Valentines Day. If there was ever a "Junk Food" that would out last the end of man kind, it's a Peep.

As a lifetime corner sewer of peeps( I eat LOTS of em ) I can attest to the fact that they do not last as long as plutonium.

My kids bought me a "gross" of em one Easter and they only lasted a couple a months before they got stale , and hard like a rock.

Now they have the bats for Halloween..mmmm chocolate !

I always look forward to Easter and Halloween so I can eat sum PEEPS !!

OFF WITH THEIR HEADS ! YUMMY !

LOL !!

The sad part about this is I was looking over my 17 year old's schoolwork. In some of her english work sentences she used "idk", and "w/e", etc and they were not corrected by the teacher.

All of this is derived from text messaging. There are times it takes me several minutes to translate her text messages. I can call her and get no answer, but if I text I get an immediate response.

What happened to talking as a means of communication? Takes five minutes of texting work to accomplish a conversation which would take thirty seconds to cover via voice.

Annoys me to no end to see people walking around ignoring the world around them with their face buried in a cell phone. :x
