Hey Thank you Randy, That would have been a sight to see for sure. Although Burning man does have some pretty interesting sights to see. Nice of you to help the motor home guy. How was sleeping in your tear in the open desert? or did ya get any sleep?

Sleeping in the teardrop was great. But then the temps was not extremely high like many times in the past. Also I think i have mostly sorted out the mattress pad and all. I can sleep in it better than my bed at home which i gave up in Dec and moved to my recliner.

Yes i slept. I will be 61 thrusday, damn right I slept.

My tear is insulated so it kept the noise rather low and i honestly can't say I was ever awakened by the noise that passes for music. Wait, isn't that what my parents said back in the 60s? The more things change the more they stay the same.

I have already started to refit for next year. Hope more of us can make it. We had 3 teardrops and one tent trailer in our camp. And one other member of the forum was camping with their friends with a 2nd teardrop. And we probably saw about 6-10 others.

We gave many many tours of the trailers. In camp and in line getting in and out. Interest in our wee beasties is very high. I hope we did make some converts. Next year will have to make some cards or something for the forum. something that can't easily be lost on the playa.

What happens on the playa, stays on the playa

Beautiful trailer...Nice job! Loved the pic of your trailer next to the big RV and also the one at the coast. Glad you had a good time, in spite of the problems at the border.

Thanks for sharing. :applause:

A big +1 on Sharon said. Your teardrop is beautiful and looks professionally built.

Take care,

Thanks a lot Tom and Jerry and everyone. Tom I studied every picture you posted of your built and was greatly inspired by your built. Now that's what I call pro built. Love the Silver beatle.

Yeah, you did a great job! And the photo with the big rv made me laugh a little... who needs to bring your home with you when you go camping?
