In case someone out there is thinking about using this product on their food, here is what it looks like about two minutes after you put a dime-size serving on a piece of beef jerky and eat it -- from the Loyd Park gathering.

The Ghost Pepper or the Bhut Jolokia has a rating of 1,001,304 SHU, better known as lots of beer an bread to kill the burn. Putting a dime size amount on beef jerky, not a good idea. A drop on a tooth pick is recommended for a quart of chili. Hope you had a fire extinguisher available when you hit the john :o

CD, the better T-Shirt legend would be "Everything's Hotter in Texas" -- true in so many ways!

if i remember correctly , the butch-t is 1,500,000 on the scoville. the ghost is about a million?, the viper is about 1.3 mill?, but those down in austraillia came up with that beast because 1.3 mill is not hot enough?

If it's too hot, you're suppose to drink milk.
