If it weren't for your TV, would you still pick a tear?

General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

I had a 20some year old pop-up and something always broke or came apart evertime I put it up. Then there was the setup, teardown, get home set it up to clean it out. Built #1 on a whim, thought it looked like an interesting project, my tv at the time was a 95 Plymouth Neon, bought a 78 motorhome for the room and amenities, broke down the first trip, been parked ever since.
Current tv is 98 Dodge Dakota v6. I like the cool factor of a teardrop, and the simplicity, and that it doesn't affect my mirage much. And I can also put it behind my 67 Dodge Dart and take it to car shows
My idea of camping is being outside doing something(sometimes nothing), it might be going for a walk, bicycling, or just sitting outside reading, so a teardrop works for me, I see the big rigs with their satelite dishs set out and think I can watch tv at home.
If I could shut my brain off, I could save myself alot of time, money and effort.
