I'm looking for some kind of "flexible" trim/moulding to use on the top of the end walls of the shower. Something that can bend to follow the curve of the roofline. Needs to be white, or paintable. Also at least 1.5" wide. I was kinda sloppy with the cuts up there thinking trim will cover it, not thinking it would be hard to find flexy trim...

Any suggestions?

Go to lowes or home depot and look by there silicone. They sell a silicone tape for around tubs and showers.. Its flexible self sealing trim.. I've seen it several times. I've never used it, but it should be just what your looking for.

Get the trim piece and make small cuts most of the way through from the back side you can use a table saw or radial arm saw. Make the cuts about a quarter inch or so apart or as needed for the amount of flex You need. This will allow the part to flex. You can probably glue it in place.

I've contemplated both of those ideas. The shower trim from lowes is only about an inch wide, not enuf to cover my sloppy cuts, lol!

The idea of cutting the back wouldn't work because it needs to curve downwards, not front to back, I would have to cut from the top down, this would leave the cuts exposed.

I've thougt about rubber cove base, like in a bathroom wall-floor connection....

How do I go about getting a value for my trailer for insurance purposes? I paid around $6000 for the new trailer, and around $3000. In materials and appliances. Not including my labor. So do I value it at $9000, or add a labor value since it would take labor to replace it?

The insurance company wants to take pictures inside and out to show what I have done to it, but wants me to give them a value.


He said. " how much could you sell it for? That would be the number I need"

Any suggestions?

There are some on e-bay setting an insurance price would be hard to figure out
I would at least cover it for what you have in it then add couple of thousand
you know "they" won't give you what it's worth so bump it up a little
and after "they" make a decision you will be close to original cost.
as you might know your car, truck,suv's insurance covers you for liability.

yes, your car insurance covers your liability on the road to others (same as your TOV).
Your home insurance covers the contents. Yes I checked on that.
And if you add insurance.. it covers the value of your trailer. That's usually why people get it.
you can get liability and collision on a titled and tagged vehicle. Mine is not tagged that way.
