Snowbear or Utilitymate trailer experience

Postby Bad-Dawg » Thu Sep 15, 2011 1:56 pm

Hello folks Old lurker that has been here off and on for a few years.

I am looking at a Snowbear/Utility mate trailer that is for sale in my neighborhood, first to use a as a ute, and then as the base for a modular TD. Anybody have any experience with them?

For reference, it's this one:

Ended up buying an HF 4x8 1760LBs. model and got it assembled to the Wheel bearing stage.

Just as well, the snow bears that I see around here (sold by HD a few years ago, but not recently) are quickly rusting all over and the ones with the stamped metal rails end up with the rails rusting through. I wanted one at the time, glad I didn't have a good reason to buy one then.
