Things that don't fit anywhere else...

who is bashing?
i would like to know who among us has not tried one of these sauces? i remember getting that damn bottle of daves insanity for christmas way back when, and proceded to dump it on a steak, and take a bite. dumb. my buddy has a bar, and when he introduced his "wing challenge" (ghost peppers in a food processor with habenero powder to thicken as the sauce) who do you think the guinnea pig was to try them to see how hot it really was? again, me, dumb.

it not a lack of intelligence on our part as men, but its in our d.n.a. to to some pretty stupid things in the name of fun.

It like sticking your tongue into a light socket, bathing with a hair dryer, changing your fanbelt with the engine running, etc. If you are willing to eat something that causes that much pain and require some salve or nostrum to ease your suffering, perhaps it's time to sit down and re evaluate your decision making abilities. Okay, when I posted this, I did not intend it to be a bashfest. I know this guy, he's a good guy, and it was, after all, a dime sized drop of sauce.

Cut the man some slack. We have ALL done things we regret after doing it.

Hoo Boy. I was not pointing a finger at Mr. Tomato Face. I'm sure he has, at least, a reasonably normal IQ. I was just making a general statement regarding foolish behavior, such as caving in to peer pressure. I'll bet if you ask him, he will tell you that it was one of the dumbest things he ever did. The best and brightest of us will still pull some really boneheaded stunts. We're men, as Steve said, we can't help it.

I make my own habanero sauce. One hot, and another hotter! I've made some Bhut Jolokia sauce, and harvested the seeds from these peppers. The batch of sauce is long gone. Hoping that the plant will survive, and yield some peppers next season!

If anyone has Jolokia pepper seeds from a prized plant, and would like to send it to me, I will happily accept it! :D
Why just dance, when you can Salsa!

During the last physical, the doctor noticed all of the scars on my legs and hips. He asked me how long I rode off-road donorcycles.
