So, would a UV protective wax help?

For a tear built with every exterior surface being MDO, which is better, epoxy or CPES? Just coat the seams, lightly sand (and remove any runs) and roller with UV-proof paint?

I used epoxy on the latest tear. MDO sides, no cloth, just resin. Flattened out nice for paint. CPES doesn't build for any sort of thickness to sand prior to paint like an epoxy will. Doug
