Need some opinions

Postby oregonguy » Mon Oct 03, 2011 7:54 pm

Hey everybody. I need some opinions on whether or not you like a cosmetic touch that my brother and I are thinking of for our "Streeter" model teardrop.
It will certainly be optional to order either way...but we're trying to decide whether to equip this first model with the "Accent Bars" pictured below. They'll be mounted with 3M commercial grade sticky tape, so they'll be removable if necessary. I also put up a pick showing the trailer without... The question is, do you like the cosmetic "Accent Bars"?

Looks good actually,....go for it. As you said, it peels off so why not?
best, Tim

One other possibility, custom graphics. The bars seem a bit simplistic and well, drab. But then, truth beauty and contact lenses are in the eye of the beholder.

I like em. Not overdone. I also like changes that can be reversed.

Cheers,

Gus

You sure the tape is removable? I worked with one 3M tape that almost certainly would cause you to tear up the substrate before ever getting the tape removed.

A little acetone will dissolve the adhesive and leave aluminum untouched in my experience.

I'd keep them. Without them, the side of the TD looks sort of "blah". With them, it separates your TD from so many silver aluminum TD's.
