Oooohhhh, that's purty.

I love the combination of the formica and the stain. Very nice.

Dang Kevin,

That is one gorgeous bit of woodworking in your galley. The laminate color and wood stain color look fantastic!

Don't want to derail your build thread, but what type of jointer do you have? Is that a Rigid?

Keep up the good work and take care,
Tom

Thanks for comments... It really keeps you motivated. The stain wasn't as dark as my test piece but actually turned out better. I'm still stuck on what to do for the wall treatment, I was thinking of just getting another sheet of formica but though that might be overkill.

Tom the planner is a Ridgid, its about 9 yrs old, its the 2 blade version. They are 3 blade now. When I originally purchased, it was a top choice in mulitple reviews. The new version is still getting the same top reviews. Its top review was no snipe, which was true up until this year, dont know what happened but i started getting snipe that was even too much you couldnt sand out. I prob just need to go through it. If your looking to buy one... You cant beat it... I have ran 1000's board feet through it and only gone through 4 sets of blades (they are double sided).

Well... Good thing this is not a timed project, you put down the saw and next thing you know 3 months have flown by. Lets see who we can blame it on now... Time Change... thats it...gets dark way to early, LOL.

Here are some pictures of the doors that are finished and mounted.

I gave my son my truck so that he has something reliable to go to college in. So I had to go find a new Tow Vehicle, found a great deal on a 2001 f150. This has probably consumed most of my play time. Everyone knows that if you get a 4x4 you have to add a lift kit. That was a chore. I should have stayed focused on my TearDrop.

Weather is getting better so will be getting back to teardrop duties.

Your stain and countertop colors look amazing!!!

Curious as to what you are thinking of doing with the side walls...are you going to leave them natural?

Thanks...David

Kevin,
Thought you might want to see that I borrowed heavily on your color scheme...and I used black on the sides to make the dark cabinets stand out.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I have posted more information under "Tear Hauler Concept" in non-traditional designs.

Here is one more picture of my favorite feature of the trailer - :-)
