General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

Slow...I have one decent, but not overly expensive, deep cell battery that I use. After two days, its probably drawn down a lot lower than a fella really should.

SH...If the bed is warm, the dampness feel is noticably minimized. I sleep with the windows cracked to keep moisture down, but bedding does get damp over time. Funny thing, the winter cold air somehow seems drier to me than say 40 degrees during the rainy season. And I am real careful to dry out the trailer while not in use. Just my experience though...

I did have those crystal thingies hanging up in it. However, they made my camelback taste like they smelled, so I took them out. I probably will put the crystals back in, but will take my open (I want them to dry out) water containers out.

I guess the way it has been raining this month, I better clean out the shop so I can back the trailer in.

The shop is not very dry either. It has no insulation on the sides and moisture sometimes comes up through the concrete floor. But it does keep the rain off.

A friend swears by a little contraption that draws in the humidity, and then you plug it in to an electrical outlet to dry it out. I may get one of those.

I just tested the mattress heater. Nothing burst into flames. I ran it on the high setting for 30 minutes, under covers, and it works. I still have battery power. Looks like a winner.
