Floor in, now it is looking like a camper

I got the floor in and the paneling done. All I like electrical inside is sockets and covers. Two weeks and I hope we are going camping

Floor

It is the 68 cent per sq ft at Home Depot. It took three boxed and two pieces out of the fourth box. It was $14 per box with tax about $60 total.

Slippery,

What a great looking interior, a butiful build. :applause: Might you have a photo of the exterior frontend that shows the A/C install from outside?

I was going to ask the same question. While I was thinking of trying to install one higher up (you know, the old cold air falls principle), I thought the actual installation and support would be easier with it mounted low. That looks like it would be supported by the trailer tongue?

Airconditioner

Postby slipperyd12 » Sun Oct 09, 2011 8:59 pm

I thought about putting the airconitioner high but I did not want the weight
bouncing around going down the interstate. I have not finished my cargo trailer A/C yet but here are the pictures of how I did my teardrop. I feel better having it anchored to the frame. Not only does the anchor support the weight but I bolt it down to the support so it cannot bounce up or down. If not supported the weight just bounces on the trailer framing and to me that can't be good. It seems the roads are so bad every where I travel. Mostly interstates.
Thanks
Slippery

Is that cover removable? I see a possible door for venting of the air?
Looks to me to be a lot of waste space covered up. do you have plans for that?

A/C cover

Postby slipperyd12 » Tue Oct 11, 2011 7:51 pm

The front opens for air flow. The space is not that big, when I resized the picture it made it look really big. I sold the teardrop about a year ago.

Slippery,

Thank you for the additional photos. Your A/C install makes sense to me thanks to the additional photos.

Please keep us posted on your CT build!
