How about The Crooked Road? (VA Heritage Music Trail)

Postby Alfred » Sun Oct 16, 2011 8:40 pm

Hey gang,

Anybody ever do a teardrop trip along the Crooked Road (Virginia's Heritage Music Trail)?

I've been thinking about it for the Spring or Summer, it is close enough to NC that I could even break it up, do some of it over a few weekend trips. Looks like it would be a great trip, with a lot of music and history.

It looks like it would be a great trip almost any time: spring, summer or fall!

Did a shot through part of it on my harley. Jumped off the parkway and took it over to 81. Been a while back, was beautiful country and nice winding roads. Just made a couple of short breaks along the way. I remember thinking it would be nice to come back someday and take a couple days to explore the whole thing and stop at towns along the way.
