Atwood Furnace quit working

Postby southpennrailroad » Wed Oct 26, 2011 5:42 am

Yesterday morning my furnace quit working. Changed the propane tank, thinking that was the problem nope accidentally dropped the pressure gauge a week ago on the tank thinking that was the problem so I disconnected the gauge no the furnace still didn't work. Checked the battery but that was charged up so I decided to call Atwood. Rich told me how to check the thermostat. Yep that was the problem. Nice and warm this morning. Now I have a digital thermostat. I like it. :D

On another trailer web site I follow a lot of people have installed a digital thermostat and like the furnace much better.
glad you got it fixed starting tonight here in Ohio the weather is suppose to turn wet and colder. So it's headed your way.

Thanks Pete

I spent the day also covering in the furnace finally. No more front falling off. Looks like a fruit box. made out of hickory my boss had left over. Not completed yet. I take lots of time deciding what to do with as little as I have. Makes a nice seat though. Still plan on adding up/on top so as to make a small closet. Still thinking how to do that. Good place right now t0 place shoes. In the am they will be warm.
