Hello fron Georgia

Postby Roger W » Thu Nov 10, 2011 12:02 pm

Hello,
I have been viewing this site for a while, and am finally joining. My wife Karen and I have started our build. Going slowly and have gotten lots of ideas and tips from this forum. Thanks to everyone who has posted. This seems like a great place to hang out.

We spent years raising two sons, being involved with scouting and lots of tent camping. Kids our now grown, have our first grandchild, and are ready to upgrade from a tent. Will post details and build pics soon.

Thanks, Roger W

Welcome to both. We love camping in Georgia, usually near I75. We haven't found a bad camp yet. Veteran's to Lake Allatoona. All good so far. We will check Virginia later on.
Happy trails,
Hoyt

We are less than an hour from Lake Allatoona, and in an area within a few hours of some nice camping areas for short day trips. We will be doing short trips, as well as extended adventures.
When all else fails, read the directions.

Welcome Roger & Karen from over in Jefferson. We do have a good GA Tearjerkers group with a couple of outings a yr and other fine groups in TN, AL, and FL that get together for gatherings also. We do a lot of camping over in SC at a lot of the Army Corp parks there at Lake Hartwell. Look us up if your over our way,

Cliff (& Sheri)
In God we trust, shoot the rest and he will sort out!
