How many miles are on your HF trailer?

Ask questions about Harbor Freight trailers, or questions about building your own...

"Explode" was the word that really got me....I thought Only Hollywood vehicles "Explode"! :?

Zach, help me out on this one. :worship:

Happy Trails

Mine only exploded once. Maybe twice. But I glued it back together and all was well. I've even started my second build on the same exploding frame. It will be glorious.

I don't know did they use a HF trailer on this TT?

Because it really blowed up, blowed up real good.

I heard the RGP was actually a dud, and it was in fact the HF trailer that caused the explosion.

I have about 10,000 miles on a HF trailer. No, it is not a teardrop. It is used for hauling stuff. It's about three years old and isn't pretty any more, but it keeps on going! I repack the bearings every year (including when it was new... They're filled with something like Vaseline). I did have a little rust on the inside race, but I cleaned it up and it seems fine. Tires are still original. I keep about 40 PSI in them, unless I am hauling a heavy load. I have had well over 1,000 pounds in it, and it handles it nicely.

Mine is the 12" wheel, non-folding model... #94564.

I have a Northern Industrial Heavy Duty 5x8 trailer with 1980 gross weight, and I believe it is fairly close to the HF trailer. I upgraded to a 3500 lb axle, 14 inch tires, and 10 inch electric brakes. I like my set up very much.
