I'm sure part of you are curious about the cost of this thing.
I'm assuming you'll be buying new, which most of you will be.
Materials used:
Flexiride Axle - $227.95 + tax, shipping (If I do another, I'll pickup a Dexter axle locally, cheaper, and with the right planning, you don't need the adjustable axle)
40' 2x2x1/8" Angle - $28.69 (inc tax)
10' 2x2x1/4" Angle - About $15 if you can buy a half stick, $30 if you have to buy a whole. I had 10' in the scrap pile for this project
1' 2x2x1/4" square tubing - I used a class 3 insert I had laying around, Easier and cheaper than having to buy a 20' stick.
Fulton straight tongue coupler - $12
Tires/wheels of your choice. Lets say $100 for the pair in most cases.
Add all that up and we're right around $400 before the welding and fitting.
This design has all straight cuts. You could use a hacksaw if you were determined enough. My total welding/cutting/fitting came to 3 hours.
This is how I hold a corner square.
Almost forgot, Completed trailer weighs 230 lbs.
