Greeting from sandhills region of NC

LONG time lurker in the shadows of the forum but first post in so long that lost my old name and password!

Enjoy finding/haggling over/getting them home/cleaning/rebuilding/cleaning some more/stocking old campers and teardrops, using them a while and then, when someone wants it more than I do, I'll let it go to start a new project. My wife thinks I like messing with the campers and getting them ready to go much more than the actual going! I kinda think she's right! Anyhow, last rehab (not a redo, as it was in decent shape when we got her) was a '72 Traveler 14'. Very much fun, very proud of it but after all said and done, found I only didn't even break even. My motto has become 'oh well, it was fun'.

Current project is a 90% finished homemade 4'x8' tear. This one may never make it out to the woods with me, but having fun getting it ready. I'll try this time not be so such a stranger on the board!

8) Hello!
Enjoy all that this forum has to offer. Sounds like your 4 x 8 is almost done enough to camp in. Keep us posted.

I'm like you. Doing work on the trailer is more fun than actually using it.
