Introducing myself...

Postby VermonTear » Wed Nov 16, 2011 2:32 pm

Hi.. I've been browsing this forum, along with every other link google could provide, for the past month or so, as I contemplate building my first teardrop. Now that I've settled on a 4x8 cross between Grant's Lil Bear and Steve Frederick's Peg's Custom, I thought it was time to join this forum before I started begging you for answers to my myriad of questions.

I've done a fair amount of woodworking -- designed and built a couple of custom kitchens, torn the roof off an old farmhouse and replaced it with rough-sawn lumber I harvested from the property. But building a teardrop, electric (wow-- 12 volts), axles, wheels, aluminum roof -- there's going to be a lot new.

I've already found a lot of answers -- or places to look for the answers by snooting around here. Thanks for being here and sharing your good times and your bad.

I'll be in touch.
Ken
