Sears 710-7426

Lanterns, stoves, etc... anything old!

Sears 710-7426

I just got my 30' vintage Sears lantern working. After cleaning the dirtiest tank I've come across. Taking an overnight soak in Carborator cleaner and an hour and a half of shaking and draining it with 6-32 nuts inside It is back to life.

Nice job, I have the same lantern but it is waiting in a long line of projects to get running. This winter I plan on getting to as many lanterns and stoves as I can. Keep up the good work!

Thanks guys! I just love the look fo this lantern.

I caught the Lantern bug about three or four years ago from Doug,Kevin,& Dave. Buying them and doing nothing with them untill a month ago.

I set a goal to get all of my lanterns into working order. So far 12 of the 18 I own!
I just finish a circa 1935 sears lantern. Shown in an other thread.

The only problem is now the disease has again set in and I'm looking at stoves too.

Lee.
If you get into stoves too you might have to consider a larger house as we all know coleman products hav an uncanny ability to multiply.
