I like it, but here's the thing:
OK, you got me there - favourite line of Linda out of 'Becker'.
Don't I want to cover more of the wheel? My main dislike of my current situation is those tiny wheels. It looks out of balance with the rest of the TD.
It seems to me that at least half of the wheel will be sticking out below any style of fender. So this is going to look like the end of the sock hanging out of your bathing shorts when the rest of the sock is 'enlarging your image'....
I'd say don't pretend you're hiding a huge, manly, macho wheel behind a skirted fender - just add enough chutzpah to the fender to lead the viewer's attention away from the wheel you've got.
(I am awfully impressed that you included my round windows there.)
The management are always glad to receive compliments from happy customers.
Also, if you were me, how would you finish them off? For the sides, use the same as my skin? For the sides, no problem, but do you think that'll bend for the top, or would I want to do something different there anyway?
Using the same beaded ply for the sides would tie them in nicely - though it then demands that you get them perfectly lined up. But if your beaded ply is 3/4", that's a bit heavy for the outer side of the fender - there's no point having that sort of weight hanging out there. I'd go for 3/8", or even 1/4".
The top surface of the fender will have to be done in 1/8" - or do you have some bendy ply left (didn't you use that?)? To follow the curve of the fender, the top needs to be either two layers of 1/8" (two layers to give it stone puncture resistance) or some of your bendy ply.
Finishing the cut edge of the top ply where it meets the sides could give a tricky finish problem - how about finding some smaller rope to match the main body finish?
