Duck hunter shot by dog

Postby Shadow Catcher » Thu Dec 01, 2011 6:35 pm

According to a Utah sheriff, a 46-year-old duck hunter was injured when his dog shot him after he left his canoe to place his duck decoys. The man is currently in surgery, having 27 birdshot pellets removed from his ass.

Apparently, the victim placed his loaded 12 gauge shotgun -- with the safety off -- on the bow of the boat, pointed at himself. His canine companion, eager to help, stepped on the trigger. The hunter was bent over about 10 feet away.

The hunter was not seriously injured, in part because he was wearing heavy waders. He walked (funny) to a nearby road to flag down an emergency crew.
