Brian:

Welcome!!!

Look at the top of this page, to the 3rd line, to "Help with photos". That's how I learned how to post the photos here.

Good Luck

Yep good info here...

http://www.mikenchell.com/pichelp.html

IRFANVIEW is a good "quick and dirty" picture editor/format converter...

Do not recommend any pictures for internet use any larger than 640x480 (pixels) in size...

Cheers!

Dale

Spent a couple of hours over the weekend trying to post a Picture to this Forum.
Just can't seem to do it???
I am not bad with computers!
There must be a simple way to do this??
I want to retrieve my pictures from my "Pictures Files"
and I do realize the must be resized (I have that figured out, but only at one at a time??....would love to be able to resize all the pictures in my "Trailer Picture File " at once?)
PLease HELP!

Brian, I use a site called www.Photobucket.com It is a free hosting site. Upload the pictures you wish to post there first. It will re size them to fit the forum. Do yourself a favor and shoot your posting pictures in a lower pixal count. Then when you want to drop a picture into your thread open Photobucket and copy the bottom link under the picture you want to post. It will say " IMG code" .Then return to the forum and paste that picture in your thread. Now if you remove or delete a picture on Photobucket that you used in a thread you will also delete it from your post.

Hope this helps.....Once you get it it will seem so simple. I struggled at first too.

Woodbutcher beat me to it. Photobucket is so much easier to use.

...many photo editors allow batch resizing...if you use(d) IrfanView linked to above, it will allow that...after you have your pics resized, it will need to be hosted online somewhere...to make this simple, we have an album here just for you, look in the top header and click "Album", scroll about halfway down and click "your personal gallery" follow the prompts and directions in the "help with photos" and you should be good to go.........
