Didn't work!

I use an iMac, and store my images in Picasa. I uploaded a picture to my Google album. That location was dropped into the space between img and img. Craigslist is a lot easier!

At least the link worked

I can't see why the img thing doesn't work for you. I have never tried to link an external site in here. I have just use the ones in the forum album.

RE: How do You Post Pics From Online Storage?

Hi Jerry/Ashleymeadow,

Here's your self described "worst Weld" from your T&TTT Album:

And here's your self described "best weld" from your T&TTT Album"

[I hope you don't mind I posted them. I can go back and edit them
out if you wish.]

I posted these from off your T&TTT Album to see if that works. It does, as
you see. I tried posting the picasaweb URL, as you did, and it doesn't
work for me either [no real surprise]. I wonder if the reason is that the
pic URL from picasaweb is a secure one - the "https" - shows that. Or
perhaps the "img" button only works on pics from our T&TTT albums? So maybe
you'd need to put the picasaweb pics into your album and then post from
there? Every forum has/does it different it seems.

Another thing to consider is how you can share pics off picasaweb -
what are their procedures? I have no idea how they work as I keep my pics
either on my hard drive or USB flash Drives. It does look like you got
those two in the T&TTT album OK - were they from pisaweb?

Maybe you could either post a query in the General Section asking how
to directly put in pics off those pic storage web sites, or PM one of the
moderators. You'd get wider exposure for the question that way. Off
the top of my head, I believe "madjack" and "Miriam C." are moderators.

Oh Yeah, also, do start a build thread in the Build Journals section too so
you can keep all your build posts and pics together and make it easier for
all of us 'curious followers' to follow along.

Good luck sorting the pics out. I hope there is an easy solution!

Cheers,
Norm/mezmo

Hot water heater

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Mon Dec 05, 2011 11:24 pm

Jerry, I really like the Coleman small propane water heater. You don't even have to install it, just set it up where you want to wash. Heats up quickly and enough for your dish needs. Portable and easily handled.

Here is what I use for a hot water supply:

I just plug it in and add water. I bought it about 8 years ago for around $70-something.

Imagethe art deco one I picked up for Scott T

Image Tim and Judy's on the shelf next to the blue water jug

Image My collector series avacado green one for the chuck wagon

Alas, I am remiss, I don't seem to have a picture of the harvest gold one I now have for the new little 4x7....

Seriously I have picked up better than a dozen of these at Goodwill
( for between 5 and 10 bucks each)
for friends and fellow campers.

First up in the morning I fill it up and plug it in and in 4-6 minuits I have hot water for hot chocolate of hot tea or the tea bag style coffees. I can then start breakfast and when we are done the water is ready and waiting to get the dishes done. Greasy pots are so much easier to clean in good hot water. :applause:
