Yeah....I thought it was coming up...what a haul!!! I just can't imagine that one...I used to do the Midnight Sun 600 Anch. to Fairbanks on the highway early 70's...in 3 days on a Skidoo, 340 TNT C stock class... and that was bad enough!! -40 in Tok....ughhhhhh!!! Hard to get inspired to ride a machine in those temps, but those guys and gals in this race are way tougher than I ever thought I was....PS, not to mislead you...only my hometown in the summers....but what summers they were!!! :thumbsup:

Hey,
I just fixed a window in a new flower shop, this guy opened up. He just moved here from Alaska and told me he's colder here than he was in Alaska... (It's the humidity)

Ak TD...what would be cool is a ferry trip up and drive down the Alcan!!!...I'd do that one...need to see if there are any takers on it...never done the ferry...but did the Alcan a bunch of times, first trip 1963, I was 10 and had the best fishing of my life....

Now that we won independence, I posted some good links for doing just that kind of trip to 'The Last Frontier' in the new zone 8 (Alaska) territory! :snow

i think a ferry and alcan trip is somewhere in my future!! have been up there twice and would love to do an extended summer trip again.
