:) Lee, your lamp's a real beaut! Casts such a nice glow.
And to Slow, how 'bout that Coleman quality, huh?!! The company makes sturdy gear, don't they. !

Thanks Joanie.
The lamps do have a nice soft light with the glass shades. Make the living room feel warm.

I love my lamps also. I believe they are brighter than most of my lanterns.I break them out for power outages and all the neighbors think I have a generator.

I am lighting every thing coleman with a light to it.

I am going to fire up the quick lamp

the 200A

and work at getting the 228E big hat going.

I am headed into town tommrow to get gas for the farm opertaion

so one gallon of gas is going to be the most pricest.

I am figuring on using a outragous 9 dollar a gallon of gas for one time at
on christmas eve.

good old coleman white gas!!!!!!

the big hat has issues it will light up but it takes a while and lots of matches

and it puts out light but does not roar.

I am waiting on a check valve wrench on ebay to replace a check valve in it.

I never have got the big hat to pump up good and tight.

I plan on making some good old coleman christmas lighting this year.

christmas eve is a good escuse to burn up some white gas and light all the colemans.

a little coleman light with the candles should not make mom mad!!!!!!!

slow

Great Idea Slow.

Mark, that is a pretty lamp. I am keeping my eye out for one of those.

Hey Slow. I might join in even though I do not celebrate Christmas.

bah humbug

I should have 8-9 lanterns. not counting the one Wally World branded profane one. And I would not want to soil the occasion with that one. I am not that mean.

Maybe we should have a Dec. 24 burn...T&TTT wide...Coleman and whatever else you have...make it a tradition. Burn and post. Nothing about any certain beliefs...except the belief that we all love camping and are in it together.

The thought of a pressure vessel, filled with gasoline, inches away from a flame, inside a house just scares me no end. I guess I'm just a wuss.

To the best of my knowledge gasoline powered lamps and stoves are never used aboard boats. There must be a reason. Alcohol is sometimes used because water will put out an alcohol fire. Water will cause a gasoline fire to spread.

Have fun but be careful.

Cheers,

Gus
