Keep your grits indoors

Postby Guy » Sat Mar 04, 2006 5:37 pm

Dear Jim,

Better keep your grits indoors. How much clothes do the yankees still have on when they get to Savannah?
Regards,

Guy

I would see these guys at the rest area outside of town, taking their bikes off the trailer so that it would look like they rode in from wherever they came from. Of course the trailer was being pulled by a 40ft luxury motorcoach.

We get the same thing up here at Sturgis. I've seen them get off a plane in full leathers, walk out of the airport to their Harleys which were trailered up for them, and then "ride" to Sturgis (about 35 miles away).

We're vendors during the Sturgis rally at the Buffalo Chip, and when we started 15 years ago, if you would have drove in with a motor home, it would have been torched. Today the have about 3000 RV sites, and the "bikers" are upset because they don't all have full hook ups.
