Does the cab-over section stick out past the tounge?

Looks like it to me. I've seen this Metz up close and it is nice. It's also a rere one. Not to many 'cab overs' were built. Good thing it's not on the West Coast, it would be gone. ;)

Did you raise the starting price? I could swear it was at $4000?

How is the exterior skin? Is it dinged up at all?

Did you paint the exterior yourself or was it done professionally?

How is the attention to detail on the interior? I saw on one of your ebay pics of the floor a piece of trim was missing...just curious.

Thanks

I have also seen this trailer up close. Gage is correct, it is nice. The paint job looks professionally done to me.

The Paint is Auto grade, it was primed and then the green and white was applied. I did not do the paint it (and several other things) were done by a professional that works on Scotty Trailers and is on the NSSO site.
As far as the trim goes you are correct My cooler slid around and busted a piece. It is on 1/4 round trim and will cost about a $1 to replace it.
so I guess I should have said it is 99.9% restored.

Gage thanks for the comments.
Also the Tounge is abot dead even with the cab over. If you have a truck or a car with a trunk it is no problem. We had a chevy Equiknox 6 cylinder (suv) and it did fine (the back of the equiknox was slanted not straight up and down) We also pulled it with a van and in that case we used an extend hitch that put the ball out about an additional 8 inches just to get a little more room. I was thinking of extending the tounge of the trailer about a foot but we naver had a problem so why spend the extra $150 bucks...

as far as the exterior skin goes it is in excellent shap. Any piece that had a hole or big dent or a crease in it was replaced (did you follow the thread and look at the build photos?) anyways there are a couple of really small dings that were left there on purpose. I wanted to keep some of the charm and not make it look like a brand new trailer. One little spot is on the corner of the cab over where my wife bumped her head, I just didnt want to erase that memory :?

Let me know if your ebay purchase falls thru. I bid $3000 (ozwego8) and I dont think I can go any higher. I was pleasantly surprised to see the reserve set at what it was.

I'll be watching tomorrow for the results! Good luck.

2 kirks thanks for the bids. The person who is now "in the lead" is new to eBay so I am a little apprehensive as to wheter or not he will follow through if he actually wins.. He has already emailed me and said he doesnt have a pay pal account... Been down this road before..
Anyways I guess we will see tonight how it turns out, loosing a lot of money on it but thats the way the cookie crumbels.... but on the bright side the money is going to a good cause. :)

If you bid $3000, why doesn't it show? And if you have gone that high, you can go higher. Remember, nothing has to be done to this trailer to enjoy it.

Gage, He bid 2999 so the guy that out bid him by 1 buck shows up. I dont know how high the other guy has gone ebay wont show that. I assume there will be some last minute bids but if not someone is going to get a heck of a deal.

My wife would likely kill me if I bid higher!

I'd also have a one-way trip of 12 hours for me to pick it up.

Hopefully this guy isnt a deadbeat!
