Will I regret a black exterior?

Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

Mine got too hot when it was green. Yellow is much cooler. And, yes, a/c eliminates the problem.
Happy trails,

I bought a new truck this year. I really like the look of black, so... I bought a black truck! A clean polished black vehicle really stands out.

We had the hottest summer on record this year, and I park in direct sun at work. I can tell you, the surface of the truck is "HOT" after sitting all day at in the sun. However, the interior is NOT hot! I think it has a lot to do with insulation. The outer skin is really hot, but does not transfer to the inside.

If I had to do it again, I would buy the BLACK truck. It doesn't show the dirt, Insulation keeps the interior cool, and it looks great all the time. Every other color vehicle I have owned, showed the dirt, and looked dull because of it. Black is beautiful!! Go for it....

Leaning towards black...

Trailershowroom.com has a two-tone paint option with a slanted dividing stripe between the colors. I'm going to choose black for both tones, and then leave the dividing stripe and roof a pewter/light grey/aluminum. I just wish their website had more accurate color charts/photos!

My trailer's black, matching my TV. Haven't noticed a problem. It is fully insulated though -- top, sides and flooring all insulated.
