First of all...big thanks to Kevin and Dave A for gifting me this stove at the Coleman gathering. Kudo's also to Jeremy for the decal it sports! It's a 1927 AGM KampKook. done up in original colors.

After lots of trials and tribulations with the paint...it was too cold...I finally got it all together this morning. It had been apart about 6 weeks and I want to get the "apart" projects taken care of. I haven't built a fire in it yet, as the CV needs some attention but it's done.

What's cool is that it has adjustable height legs on it, they're tall to begin with, but can go another 6 inches or so, shown about 2 inches higher at present.

That is absolutely gorgeous Doug! I am looking for my first stove to restore, and I have no hope of doing anywhere near as well.

Tom...just take your time, don't cut a corner, don't push it on working with uncured paint and pay attention to the details...you'll do great. It's mostly time and effort. I've got lots of rattle can paint job stoves, nothing wrong with that if you don't have spray equipment. Doug
