Yes, that is a scam. You can't view it, but once it arrives if not as advertised can return it. If they included a link to the ebay like website, looks very legit, but isn't. When we were looking for a TD ran across several almost identical except different trailers attached to the ad. When emailed the responses 99% the same, only difference was the reason for the too good to be true price.

OK, well let me apologize for reposting that ad. I had not looked closely at it before posting. I guess I am just not accustomed to scams like that originating in Indiana.

Hard to spot the scams sometimes from just an ad. Usually the proof of scam or not comes out when you email the party. Unfortunately the old saying of too good to be true is usually right, but not 100% of the time.

:applause:  Good job finding this one. I am leaving it up for others to see. I ran across this kind of add but the "woman" said "it was on a base, the base was closed pending transfer to Irag."

If you can't see it---it ain't real!

The going overseas is very common in these scams, gives a credible reason for having to sell quick and cheap. Other norm it seems is trailer not at the owners location, taking care of sick mother out of town and need money quick for her care, etc. They use anything to pray upon the sympathy of the buyer.

Tom this Scamp trailer ad scam has shown up on Craigslist all over the country for the past year or so. Don't feel bad about not knowing about it though. It caught my eye when I saw it posted locally. Then I happened to be doing a broader CL search and spotted it in a few other variations in other locations. That triggered my radar. After that I started flagging the ad everytime I saw it in various locations. Looks like it's resurfaced again.

The add is "outta there"! If you see another one, just suggest COD.
