To Fiberglass or not.

Hey everybody.
I'm in the planning stage of my next Tear and I really want to build it as a Woody. I would really appreciate some of you that have built them to share some of the pros and cons of using fiberglass. Personally I've never used it and am a little afraid of diving in to it.

I'll be starting my first tear and decided it's going to be a woody. For two reasons...1- I like the look of a woody and 2- working with alumium scares the hell outta me. I think fiberglassing will take longer but will be easier to do. I don't have to search for the proper trim and the hassle of mail order.

'Glassing is a lot of work/expense. I only do it because I build up the panels that I work with. I use it only for the structural element. If you're using a single sheet of wood for the sides, I would only use epoxy, as a waterproofing. Save the 'glass for the joints in the wood where there won't be any trim.
I have 4 by 10 sheets in the shop for my next project after Peg's. I'll use epoxy only on the sides and 'glass only on any joints, like the roof/wall joint.

Jeff,
I suggest buying Steve Fredericks CD manual. You'll be blown away at how much info is in it. I'm building my first TD and its gonna be fairly simple but on TD #2 I'm gonna use more of Steves style.
