Monday I replaced a rubber hose on a friends car
it runs between the intake manifold and the MAP manifold atmosphere pressure sensor $1.06 not to bad.

I received a call this morning saying the car would not start
after talking to her seems she left the doors unlocked so they would not freeze shut
last year she left them open and the battery ran down this year she closed them just left unlocked.
I drove up to their house took my jumper cables out of my car had her daughter open the car's hood.
then I noticed the battery was missing who ever stole it loosened the bolts and unhooked the cables.
$100 not so good.

times are hard but to resort to stealing from your neighbors sucks.

Yeah that sucks.

I was reading about a rash of battery thefts in california and how they were being sold as scrap.

Yea , we have had guys with battery saws cutting of catalytic converters for scrap. They got my Dads stake truck parked at his business. The cops said it happens a lot.
